Blind Fury
Julian Brown hasn’t been able to catch a break in the last two years. He was laid off from his job as an accountant after eighteen years of service, and his wife of nearly twenty years divorced him around the same time. He had gone to a job fair downtown that proved to be a colossal waste of his time, and someone had broken into his car and stole his radio and CDs. Fortunately, his cut-rate insurance company covered his loss, and he was able to get a rental car for his trouble.
Later on that day, he had to pick up his son Miles for the weekend as he had joint custody with ex-wife Vanessa, but Miles was out playing basketball when he arrived. Now, Julian and Vanessa still had a cordial relationship, but Julian wanted to know the real reason why she broke up with him. Needless to say, some hard truths were revealed, and some tears were shed. Julian had decided to cut his visit short and look for Miles at the basketball court. It was then that he discovered that Miles had been shot, and the family all gathered together at the hospital in order to learn of his condition.
However, Miles’ condition took a turn for the worst after the doctors had stabilized him, and he died on the operating table. Julian’s life went into an immediate tailspin after the tragic loss of his son, and he ultimately would stop at nothing to find the killer(s) responsible for the shooting. Blind Fury is an urban fiction crime drama based in Chicago full of grit and suspense.
